Remove Smoke Detector Covers

As you settle in, we want to remind you of an important safety step: please ensure all smoke detector covers are removed before you spend your first night here.

These covers protect the devices during construction but, they need to be taken off to allow the detectors to monitor for smoke and keep you safe. Once uncovered, the smoke detectors will be fully functional and ready to alert you if any issues arise. You must remove them from all smoke detectors including the basement. Taking this simple step helps make your home a safer place from day one.
